Our Mission
We are knowledgeable and trusted real estate professionals developing products and communities designed to meet our stakeholders’ expectations in Northern Utah. Through the application and knowledge we’ve gained from years of experience, we will provide attractively designed communities and services that will be a lasting value. We will continue to be the best by focusing on continued improvement.
Our Developments
Brodsky Built provides developed lots for homebuilders across the Wasatch Front. We search out land that can be developed for other builders in Northern Utah. Our communities are a combination of developed lots for fee-simple townhomes and single-family detached homes.
Experience is the difference; we've got 125 years
As a neighborhood developer, our objectives are to create communities that people can call home. Over the years, many of our developments were done as infill, complementing the surrounding communities. Many of our locations have combined connectivity of mass transit and internet. These locations are often nearby trax stations and rapid bus stops. Early on, Michael Brodsky embraced Utopia as a source of high-speed fiberoptic connectivity as the first developer in Northern Utah to include high-speed fiberoptic connectivity as a standard feature to all the homes in our neighborhoods. This was done through Elsinore Communications by creating a partnership between Utopia and the homeowners associations in those locations where Utopia was accessible.
Brodsky Built has brought together over 125 years of industry experience. Over the past 50 years of Michael Brodsky’s experience in the homebuilding industry – first as a division president for a national homebuilder then 30 years of owning and operating his own homebuilding company, has provided valuable insights into both the needs of homebuilders in purchasing developed lots, and of course, the needs of the ultimate homebuyer in creating a livable neighborhood. Our building consultant, John Aldous, started his long and illustrious career in the industry almost 50 years ago, and our civil engineer has been a licensed professional engineer in the various capacities of land development for nearly 30.
The prior uses of infill properties often resulted in environmental issues for which Brodsky Built is eminently qualified to address and find solutions to. Over the last 17 years, five of the neighborhoods that were developed contained lead and arsenic at elevated levels. Through working directly with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Brodsky Built designed and implemented cleanup programs to convert these properties to clean, safe, and healthy environments.
While our core business is providing building lots to builders along the Wasatch Front, we are open to a myriad of other development opportunities such as mixed-use residential and commercial developments, office buildings, and single-family homes for rent; all of which reflect our previous experiences.
