Daniel Sroka

Controller for Brodsky Built . As the manager of the company’s accounting department, Daniel oversees planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions. These include accounts payable for management companies, communities, and an AP comparison of job budgets for each phase of construction, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and compliance. He also develops and manages the company’s annual budget to support its strategic plans, and coordinates and prepares financial statements.

In addition, Daniel prepares land development draws, tracks subcontractor compliance for General Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance, completes credit applications, and maintains State Construction Registry and Lien Release collections. He started working for Hamlet Development in November 2020. Daniel has four years of accounting experience at Haynie and Company, Utah’s 3rd largest local accounting firm. There, he worked with great accounting minds and learned the details of construction accounting, which is nvaluable to our industry. He is a QuickBooks pro advisor and has mastered this accounting software. Daniel has an associate degree in accounting from LDS Business College and will graduate from Utah Valley University with his BA in Accounting. He is married with two beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family at parks and at home. He also enjoys cooking and makes a mean steak!
